Your first off-road driving experience ends at the Kurupukari Crossing - here you will be transfer by boat to the Iwokrama Rainforest Field Station for lunch and an orientation exercise on the modus operandi of the Iwokrama International Center. The Canopy Walkway is a series of suspension bridges and decks of up to 30 meters in height and 154 meters in length, located in the Iwokrama Forest. It gives visitors a new view of the mid and upper canopy of the forest and allows wildlife to be relatively free from human intrusion. The 1hr journey to the Iwokrama Canopy entails traveling by boat back to the Kurupukari Crossing and then by 4X4 vehicle to Musiparui Camp and the Atta Rainforest Lodge. After 2 hrs at the Canopy continue the journey to Annai – Rock View Lodge where you will be spending the second Vaquero Night. Rock View Lodge is nestled between the Amerindian villages of Annai and Rupertee on the North Rupununi Savannahs of central Guyana, where the foothills of the Pakaraima Mountain range meet the tropical rainforest.

Day 3 – Enjoy our traditional Amerindian pepper pot followed by the Rock View Tours. RV Nature tours will allow the visitor intimate contact with the diverse ecosystems around Rock View. Learn more about the delicate balance between the communities and the natural resources. See the plant and animal life through the eyes of the people who have depended on the natural resources for the past number of centuries. Lunch will be served before departing for Georgetown by TGA aircraft. Upon your arrival at the Residence Inn, you will once again be met by our friendly staff who will arrange your return trip to your place of origin.
